Growing up, I always had an intense love for animals. Throughout my life, I have raised dogs, cats, a bummer lamb, bunnies, and a turtle. I've always had a dream of living on a farm with all the animals and rescuing all the dogs I can. Even though all animals hold a soft spot in my heart, dogs hold the biggest one. I always knew I wanted to do something with animals as my career, but I never knew what until my dog Milo needed more training than I could offer. During that time, I discovered my passion for dog training. From that moment on, I spent countless hours shadowing with other trainers, reading dog training and behavior books, and learning everything I could about the dog training world. Now, I am so thrilled to be able to expand my skills by working with Molli and her other trainers.
I have two dogs who are my everything. Milo is a 5-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd. He taught me my love for training "difficult" dogs. Milo has a generalized anxiety disorder. Seeing what he went and still goes through on a daily basis helped me realize that problem-solving cases are my true passion. Being able to help him thrive in a world he saw as terrifying made me realize how much I want to help others in similar situations. Milo loves doing anything that involves food, other dogs, hiking, and exploring the world.
My second dog, Oliver (Ollie), is a 4-year-old Labradoodle who is trained as my service dog. Having him by my side, especially when my health was at its worst, showed me the true healing powers dogs can have. This helped me create a deeper understanding of the compassion dogs can provide. I love having the opportunity to help my clients experience that bond too. Ollie may have some poodle in him, but he is a very typical lab. He's a happy-go-lucky goofball who loves everything and everyone. If there is food, a ball, or any body of water involved, he is in. Ollie loves scent work, running, and being constantly by my side.
