I've always loved dogs but couldn't have one growing up. So I learned everything I could about dogs through books, Google searches, working with friends' dogs, and interacting with every dog I met. As soon as I moved out I got my first dog. From there I started my dog training journey, working at an open play doggy day care and acquiring my certification through ABC. I gained an understanding of canine behavior and its motives by working with dogs from all walks of life and gaining a formal education in canine obedience training.
I find the dog world to be absolutely fascinating. New knowledge and information about dogs is coming out all the time. I have a firm belief that a dog training career is one in which you can never stop learning. Because of this I am always trying to find more ways to learn, grow, and educate myself in this exciting career.
I love dogs. They are creatures whose potential continues to amaze me every day. They are capable of communicating, understanding, and working with humans on a closer level than any other creature on the planet. I love learning about them and getting to be a part of their world on a daily basis.
