Haylee Weber
Hi! My name is Haylee. My earliest memory of dog training was when I was five. I had to stand on a stool to train my Doberman because I was too little. Since then my love of dogs, and training has only intensified and blossomed. I knew I wanted to be a dog trainer, so I networked with amazing mentors including Katrina Smith, and Molli. I do continuing education courses frequently as new research is always being conducted, and learning is a continuous road. I am also a certified CGC evaluator through the American Kennel Club. I have experience in basic/advanced obedience, reactivity cases, trick work, scent work, teaching agility, and I’m currently doing Treibball with my own dogs, and hope to start teaching classes soon. I have been officially training for about four years, and own my own dog training business which works through Molli’s amazing company.
I have my bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, and will be attending grad school this spring to get my LCSW, and to go after my passion of working with individuals in a therapy setting while utilizing equine therapy, and therapy dogs. The greatest part about behavioral science, is that it is the same across species, and that along with helping people fuels my love for both human and dog psychology.
I also have a passion for the human dental field in which I have worked for 10 years as a dental assistant in oral surgery, sedation, general dentistry, and now have switched over to working as an insurance specialist. My hobbies include playing the drums, along with other various instruments, anything that has to do with Disneyland and Harry Potter, bird watching, being outdoors, being with friends, photography, and of course, BEING WITH MY DOGS AND KITTY.
